Heavy Equipment Certification is 50% online, 50% in person in Rogers — once you finish the safety lessons, you pick your hands-on week from the Fall Quarter dates inside the student portal. Advanced Manufacturing and AI Technology are both online and self-paced — Manufacturing requires one in-person day in Rogers for your forklift driving and evaluation, which you also schedule in the portal.
Heavy Equipment Certification meets here for its in-person week. Meet at this address each morning of the Fall Quarter week you pick, 8 AM – 5 PM — we provide transportation to and from the training site. Advanced Manufacturing students come to this address once, for their required forklift driving and evaluation day.
A lot of programs advertise hours they can't document. Ours are broken out lesson by lesson — video runtime, reading, project time, and evaluation — and the total is audited against the breakdown below. That's what makes the certificate hold up when a funder or an employer asks.
Most of your time is spent doing the work, not watching someone else do it. Forty of the eighty hours are projects you build and submit: inspection reports, site plans, load calculations, a full production run sheet. Your instructor grades them against a rubric you can see before you start.
Five minutes, online. Name, contact, which track you want. We confirm your grant eligibility and get back to you — usually within two business days.
You get a confirmed seat and your login to the student portal. Lesson 1 unlocks the day you're approved, and for the two equipment tracks you pick your in-person date right inside the portal.
Online lessons at your own pace, then the hands-on part in Rogers: a full Monday–Friday week on the machines for Heavy Equipment, one forklift day for Manufacturing. AI Tech is entirely online. Every module ends with a graded project.
You finish on real equipment with an evaluator, pass the final, and walk out with the certification and a resume that lists what you actually built.
